Prayer - We all need it!

The Prayer Chain The chain now consists of a group of 26 people who are willing to pray for situations, which need immediate prayer, and has been called on more than 80 times in the past year. We have four working chains so the messages can be passed through more quickly.

All prayer requests are brought to the Lord as soon as they are received then passed down the chain by a series of phone calls or e-mail. Requests are passed on a "word for word" basis to ensure the correct information reaches everyone. We give thanks and praise to God for answered prayer. We do not always hear the outcome of our prayers but in cases where we do, the results have been very positive and uplifting.

If you feel you can serve God in this very valuable way please contact Wendy Borthwick or Joan Cowley. We have two e-mail chains, which are ideal for those who have rather irregular hours, and two phone chains.

A weekly Time of Prayer takes place in church every Thursday between 9:15 - 10:00am. The time usually includes praise and thanksgiving to God and intercessions for individuals, the church and the world.  Everyone welcome. If you would like a particular topic to be remembered in prayer, let Paul know 01626 853241.

Prayer Meeting on the first Saturday of each month at 8:30am for a hour. A light breakfast from 8:00 - 8:30am in the Fellowship Room followed by prayer time in the side chapel. Information from Clare Lillington 01626 852155.
