What is ALPHA?
More than 4 million
people all over the world have completed the ALPHA course over the last
ten years in churches, homes, schools, universities and prisons.
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a
relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking weekly
sessions, with a day or weekend away. It is for anyone with questions
about the Christian faith; whether they are non-Christians, 'waverers',
or committed church attenders.
It is low-key, friendly and fun - and is supported by all the main
Christian denominations. Here in our benefice of Chudleigh, Chudleigh
Knighton, and Trusham, we have run a number of courses over the last few
years; some in church, some in homes, and our last one in a pub. We are
not sure when we will be running our next course, but if you are
interested in ALPHA please contact the Vicar or one of our team. If we
are not running one we should be able to put you in touch with one
nearby;
